HELLO GUYS!! I´m not a fan of any group because don´t prefeer anything. I like all the types of music, depends on the moment. I like jazz and soul very much because when I was a child I lernt to play the troumpet and i like this type very much!
I recommend you to listen to Louis Armstrong or Jerry Gonzales. I like the second very much because mixes the afro-Latin music with the Jazz. I saw a live concert and it was spectacular...

My favourite group are Héroes del Silencio (sometimes referred to simply as Héroes) was a Spanish rock group that emerged in Zaragoza. It was firstly made up by Enrique Bunbury and Juan Valdivia in the mid-80s. After Enrique and Juan, another guitarist and drummer joined, forming the final group. In the 1990s, the group experienced a great success around Spain and America and several European countries including Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, France and Italy. And so, they became one of the most successful Spanish groups in the history of rock. After twelve years and numerous albums, the band broke up in 1996. In 2007 was the 20th anniversary of their first recording and, eleven years after their breakup, they announced their return with a tour of 10 concerts in Spain and America. After this tour, they broke up definately. During their 12-year career they gave more than one thousand concerts in over 30 countries. After they split, their former singer, Enrique Bunbury, decided to start his singing career all alone.

My favourite group of musica is Fito and the Fitipaldis. They published his first disk in 1999 and since have not stopped to create good music! The lider of the group call Adolfo Cabrales and before playing with the "fitipaldis" touched in a group called "Platero y tu". His style of musica is the rock mixed with rhythms like the jazz the soul and other meridional rhythms.
His best disk for me is "lo mas lejos a tu lado", published in 2003.And the best song "soldadito marinero"(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bi7xa7scr9I).
Always like me the musica of fito and the fitipaldis, but since I saw them in direct by first time did me the fan number one! Always go to all his concerts. I hope you like it!
hello I like to post this beacuase I love Spanish music.
I listen a lot of spanish bands like Marea, Platero y tu, La fuga, Dark Moor... but now I will talk about Baron Rojo, one of the older heavy metal groups in Spain.
They began about 1980 with a diferent music style in our country brought form America. The name of the band is for the famous German Pilot Manfred von Richthofen.
With more of 50 years old the members of the band nowadays they do many concerts around spain and europe, old rock never dies!!
Here I post a link from youtube of one of their songs "Cuerdas de acero" it translated to english would be "Steel strings" a song dedicated to guitar.
I hope that someone of you does a post about AC/CD the best rock band!! They will be in Spain the next month.

My favourite Spanish band music is Pereza. They’re really fantastic. Pereza is a pop rock music Spanish formed by two Spanish boys, Ruben Pozo Prats and Jose Miguel Conejo Torres, but him artistically names are Ruben and Leiva. Ruben is the singer and the guitar player and Leiva play bass but he something sings too.
They came together in 1999. Pereza started singing in small club of Madrid. A talent scout from RCA saw them live and immediately deposited them into his confidence. Later the band profile for a multinational discography and edit the first album:
"Pereza"(2001).
With the pass of the years they edit others albums, these are:

-Animales (2005)
-Los Amigos de los Animales (2006)
-Aproximaciones (2007)
I like Pereza because it is different, happy and energy. Their songs can be you think so much and it is important for me in the songs.

for me it is not easy to do this post because I don't know a lot of spanish music because I french, I'm use to ear more international music...,
In france I can ear every kind of music and I'm use to ear the radio with the new music in the moment like RAP,RNB,HIP HOP...
But I choose to speek about MANU CHAO, I love his songs and I'm use to ear his music since that I was 10... I have seen 2 of his concerts, and the last one during the summer 2008.
It's a french artist who was born in paris in jun 1961, but his fathers are spanish! For this, he writes his text the largest part of time in spanish! I really like his songs because he explains a view of politic and way to see the life that I like because I think the same.
He inspirired of his experience and what he had seen, he traveled a lot in spain and had colaborated whith a lot of people or groups like Mano negra...
In 1998 he wrote the album "clandestino" that I prefer, in 1999 he win the victory of music.

I really enjoy listening ''El canto del Loco'' It is a Spanish band of Pop Rock or Punk-Pop very popular in Spain and part of America.
The band was born in 1994. It was and idea of the present singer, Dani Martín. Howewer, the first album was released in 2000 and the name was ''El canto del loco'' the same name as the band. Since then, the band has released other four albums more;
1- ''El canto del loco''
2- ''A contracorriente''
3- ''Estados de ánimo''
4- ''Zapatillas''
5- ''Personas''
In Spain, specially young people, listen to a lot of the El canto del loco's Music. In my opinion, they are one of the best bands in this genre together with Pereza, Piratas, Melon Diesel or Pignoise for example.

My favourite singer is Chenoa.
She became famouse in 2001 because she took part in the reality show "Operacón triunfo".She didn´t win but she got many fans.
She published her first disc in this year with songs like "Atrévete","Cuando tú vas" or "Desnuda frente a ti".
Then she won the reality show "Eurobest" with the song "It´s rainning man".
In 2003 she published her second album:"soy mujer" in wich my favourite song is "Adiós".
Later in her disc "Nada es igual" Chenoa wrote some songs like "Te encontré" or "Donde estés".
Finally in 2007 she published her 4th disc:"Absurda Cenicienta" with songs like "Todo irá bien" or "Absurda Cenicienta". On this disc chenoa wrote all the songs.
Her music style is pop-rock.She is a pretty besides a very important singer in Spain.Probably I´m not objective with Chenoa but for me she is the best.

One of the best singers in Spain is Kase-o, a hip-hop singer from Zaragoza. His real name is Javier Ibarra Ramos and he was born in 1980.
He started to write lyrics at the age of 11 years old and when he was 15 or 16 his lyrics had a very high level.
He has a lot of styles, but the principal one is hip-hop. Also he sings a bit of reggae. and I think his best song is a reggae one called "Bombo clap" but I like a lot of them like "Tarantula" or "Haceindo lo nuestro"
I like this singer because he say a lot of things in a way that anyone can.
The first time I listened Kase-o was when I was 13, a friend from Zaragoza showed me some songs and since this moment I am a fan of him.

I like "Estopa" that is a Spanish duo of music created in 1999 formed by the brothers David and Jose Manuel Muñoz. They are admirers of Joaquín Sabina. The type of music is the urban rumba.

I don't use to listen spanish music, I prefer international music. I listen everything but almost hip hop and punk rock.
However I like some spanish bands, one of them is Estopa. They are from Barcelona and they do rumba. I used to listen it when I was a child whith my father.
Last year they released their last album "Allenrok" and one of my favourites songs is "Pesadilla", you can find it in youtube.

Hi!! In general I like all kinds of music, and soil to listen to all kinds of music as pop music, rock music, hip-hop, techno, house ...., but I don´t like the classic music. But if I have to choose a Spanish group of music, I choose "Pereza", they touch pop-rock music in Spanish and they are very good, I identify with them and with the letters of his songs. I begin to listening to Pereza with the albun of "Animals", and from there I have not stopped listening to them. They have extracted to the sale 5 albums:

Hi!!!I like a lot spanish grups of music, my classmates said any artis and grups same "pereza" , "el canto del loco",... but i like other group as "sôber".Sôber was crated in 1993 in Madrid, the musis is alternative rock and alternative metal.Their discography is :

My I like much the group U2. I like not only theirs songs but also theirs peculiar music. U2 is a group trained by Adam, Paul, Dave and Larry.
U2 is a band of rock of Dublin, Ireland. Formed in 1976; it is one of the most popular bands of the world from middle of the decade of 1980. It has sold more than 170 million discs about the world, It has six álbumes that have come to the number 1 in the hit parade in the United States and other nine in the United Kingdom. U2 is one of the groups with major success of all the times. They have been rewarded by 22 prizes Grammy, the highest number for an artist of rock.
Theirs last album is Songs of Ascent.
I had the opportunity to go to a concert of them, when they were of tour along Spain . They acted in concert in Barcelona in 2005 in the Camp Nou there were a lot of people of different places and even of Canaries.
I recommend that they should listen " One Love ", it is a wonderful song.

Hi I love the music and think that the music is the guilty of our smiles and joys.I listen all type of music and I like groups as Pereza, Estopa, El canto del loco, Taxi... but I love the canary music and canary singers as Rosana Arbelo, Los Coquillos, Taburiente,Mestisay, etc... I think that everybody should know the canary music because our singers sing with a special feelings. So, I will suggest a band of my island (La Palma) They are "Los Rino's" is a band of five members and the singer is Abel Cordovez. They are not famous as Rosana Arbelo or El sueño de Morfeo, but in my island and others islands the people know his music because is good!!
Rino's only edited an album because all the members of this group are studyng in other places in Spain and can't work together.
This album is "lo bueno seguirá" and you can listen his music in www.myspace.com/somoslosrinos, my favourite song is Lo bueno seguirá but the other songs are very goods!!!

Here in Gran Canaria we have a famous latin group, "El Combo Dominicano" they sing a lot of latin music as "Merengue,salsa, bachata..."
Whose name come from Dominican Republic because all of them (the members) are from this country. They arrived to Las Palmas few years a go.

I like listen a lot of types of music, depent of the moment and of the state encourage that I have.
Some of my favoryte group are:
"Heroes del Silencio", "Amparanoia", "Fito y Fitipaldis", "Chambao"...ect..
But if I have to recommed any, I recommed to listen to "Juaquín Sabina", It is one of my cantautores favoryte because in his letters likes him speak of that that goes against the rules and against what consider morally wrong whit a touch of humour and melancolía.

I really like the new kind of music that is growing in Barcelona, it is fruit of mixed of races ( Indian, Spanish, African, south American, etc..) and it’s also mixed of different stiles of music like ska, cumbia, rap and others especially flamenco witch is my favourite stile.

I love all kind of music, and I have a lot of favourites groups.
But, I must to choose one, and in this time, I'm going to choose a Canary group.
His name is Malformaciones Kongénitas, and they are doing Hardcore/punk/ska.
They have two CD's, and you can buy this CD's only in his concerts, and the prices of it, it's only 6 euros, because they are an anticapitalism group.
I'm don´t feel that I am a fan, I feel thath I am a person who like this gruop, for his music, for his lyrics... And because they are friends.

I am glad to get a chance for describing nice music like a "spanish music". It doesn´t exist a many music in which you can feel a passion, power but on the other hand also relax, being in cool. In my opinion that is why this everything has got root in latine music.
I am not local but I have got so many experiences wit carneval. I came in LPA when in this this also was carneval.And all carneval is based on music. I liked that.

Although I am French, a Spanish artist touched a lot me: bebe.
Bebe was born May 9th, 1978 in Valencia and has grows in several Spanish cities such as Zafra, Mérida or Badajoz. Her parents were musicians and members of the group of Folk song Surberina, and took her in all their concerts. Rocked by their rhythms flamenco, it's in 11 years when she plays herfirst agreements of guitar.
In 1996, Bebe leaves her family and go to Badajoz with her voice her guitar and her own songs. She gives small concerts in bars.
By means of perseverance, in 2001, she takes away a singing competition in Extremadura.
At the end of the year on 2003, the producer Carlos Jean registers her first album " Pafuera telaranas ". This album is also flamenco and rock, without forgetting the varied rhythm latinos in memory of her childhood and claiming the women's movement, or the protction of the natura. I like all kind of music, but I really love romantic and salsa music. In my opinion the most important thing in a song are the lyrics. I like the songs that has some story and my favourite music bands are: Mana and Macaco. Mana is a mexican band and the topics of their songs are about love, and I really like "En el muelle de san blas" that song is really nice. Macaco is a musical group of Barcelona.They sing with a mixture of idioms and their song are about the world (nature, childrens, pollution...). my favourite song of this group is "mama tierra".
